Would carmel mixed with auburn be a good highlighting color for olive skin toned?

very pretty as seperate colors...but to mix them you may get a orange bace, especially if you using an over the counter dye kit.Would carmel mixed with auburn be a good highlighting color for olive skin toned?
No redCaradish colours like Auburn work with an olive skin tone, it's too warm. Caramel might be another bad choice depending on how dark your skin is.

First of all, no matter HOW dark or light your hair color is, dramatic changes are bad. If your hair is very dark, try not to go more than 4 shades lighter than your hair color is, or it could turn out an icky color of orange, and it won't match your skin.

Stand in direct sunlight and examine your hair. This offers a look at the spectrum of your hair, if your hair has bluish, purplish, or gereenish tints to it in the sunlight, stick with a cooler color.

Cool colors in your range can include: intense shades of brown, or a blue-back color. avoid anything golden, red, or auburn.

If your hair has red or orange tint to it, you have warmer hair. You should avoid anything that has a greenish tint. Don't use burgundy color in it.

As for highlights, I'd just go with a light brown or dark blonde. ESPECIALLY if you're having your hair lightened, you can go with lots of blonde colors.
