I have long dark blond hair, which I've been getting professionally highlighted for a while. The last time I got it dyed was this summer.
I'm cold and bored, and want to dye it red with one of those dyes that washes out after 24 shampoos or so.
So can I do it? Or will it mess up my hair?Can I use non-permanent hair color on highlighted hair?
If you have highlighted hair it is very porus and its going to absorb whatever color u put in it. And its going to be hard to get out, even if its semi perminent. It will probably fade to a pinkish color and youll have to go get it professionaly done to get it out.
