Calling all ladies ! What color highlights would look good ?

What color highlights would look best with a short faux hawk style ? My natural color is a medium to dark brown, i'm white with brown eyes and ';summer'; tanned, but not very dark. Some people have recommended ash blonde, but i want to get a lot of opinions

Put in a mix of thin ash blond, burgundy, and black streaks. It would look good. Or just burgundy.
yea an ash blonde would look good. But i would have to see you to be sure.
Use streaks of blue and some of emerald green. Hot.

get some funky deep purple or deep red ... would look good. Go wild
