What is a good color to highlight my hair?

I really want highlights but everyone says for me not to do it. cuz i dont need it. but i wanna get it done in a box or do it professionaly. I have med to tan skin and deep brown eyes and black eyebrows.

if you do, get it professionally done because dark hair can turn orange from the box if not done correctly.





i would say a nice carmel highlight or just dont get it. i love your hair color as it is.
i think it would look good with brown highlights


and dont do it from the box.

your exactly like my sister............she has olive skin tone and has brown eyes.





she got highlights too...i did them for her..it was a caramel/dark blonde shade and eventually from highlighting her hair so much..she hair became dark blonde mixed w/bleached blonde.





i personally will say dont get them..it didnt look too good...if your looking for a change... dye it a honey brown and get LOW-LITES to compliment ur dark eyebrows/eyes :)
First colour all your hair in Light brown colour and then do the highlighting with MEDIUM GOLDEN COLOUR (Not too dark not too light). Get it done from a good saloon who use good quality colour which stays for a longer time. Instead of getting it done by cap get it done using foil papers. that gives more accurate touch to highlighting.





After coluring dont forget to condition your hair regularly, since your hair becomes weak and u have hair fall.
I think you should go to a professional so you can be sure it turns out right.


With your dark hair I think either Rocketfire red, or eggplant would look good.


If you arent wanting something so drastic then get a nice light caramel highlight.
Go a brown shade...like caramel...


DO NOT DO IT OUT OF A BOX!! With your hair it will most likely not turn out very good...even if doing it a brown shade!


Not only because your hair being black but because some peoples hair does not hold the color very well and do ing it professionally will allow them to strengthen the products!


Depends what salon you go to will depend the product they use...
maybe light to med brown highlights... not sure what brand..
