I have blond hair and want to know color highlights, ie red or blue, etc, would look the best.?

I am in highschool and don't want my whole head done. Something like peek-a-boo color. (I don't know if that is what it is called) My hair is shoulder length and layered. Maybe even a different cut.I have blond hair and want to know color highlights, ie red or blue, etc, would look the best.?

A lot would depend on your skin tone, eye color and your own personal preferences.





There's a lot of colors available and you could always go to the store where they have little samples of the colors on fake hair and hold that up to your head and choose that way. Who knows you might even prefer a totally different shade.





Why not try a little experimentation with both colors, wear one for a few days to see if you like it or not and then switch to the other color for a few days.
It actually really depends on the TYPE of blonde hair ( there are many shades) and also, this is gonna sound really weird, but facial features also matter when using un natural looking highlights.





Get very temporary (or even hair extensions) to see what looks better.

red. i think that its called underlayer highlights (at least thats what my stylist said). im brunette and have blond highlights.





if you are light blonde, go with auburn. if youre darker, get something brighter so it shows better. dont overdo it though. you will look really weird.
light pink. don't go too overboard with it because i know a girl who has a ton of highlights and it just makes her look weird.
